The below Privacy Policy is Maroozle, Inc.’s standard Privacy Policy which describes information collected through Maroozle’s system by Maroozle, Inc.’s clients.  (Last update May 10, 2011)

Maroozle, Inc (“Maroozle”) and Maroozle’s clients (“Clients”) understand the sensitivity of personal information. Maroozle is strongly committed to the privacy of all of its users. Our Clients may also have independent privacy policies. Maroozle takes no responsibility or liability for the content and activities by Clients outside of the Maroozle website services. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about Maroozle and Clients.

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site or our Client’s site. When you register your child for client programs on-line and in-person, we will be collecting information for your family and your child.

Client member Registration, Volunteer Registration, and Tournament Registration information, as appropriate, may include your name, e-mail address, address, credit card number, and phone number; information about your child such as name, birth date, school and gender; Medical information such as insurance number, insurance phone, insurance ID, allergies and special needs; Athletic & Academic information such as school, athletic history, awards and accomplishments, and player position.

We collect reasonably necessary information as required to ensure your child can effectively join and participate in Client programs. Collection of information via Maroozle services is not a condition for your child’s participation in the Client’s programs.

Calendar information, the personal information that you voluntarily submit for your personal family calendar to help you organize and manage your life and share with your family, such as calendar appointments and reminders, is secured in your own personal family account. This private content is accessible only to you and other family members who have the password to your account. WE DO NOT SHARE THIS PRIVATE CONTENT WITH ANY THIRD PARTY INCLUDING THE CLIENT.

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on Maroozle and Client sites. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

Public information, the information on or from Client, as appropriate, may include history, team events, locations, registration information, tournament advertisement, volunteer advertisement, news and other Client public content is published without requirement for login. Visitors may visit Maroozle or Client site anonymously and view public information.

What do we use your information for?

Maroozle and Clients may use and disclose information you provide about your family and child to enable us to process, validate and verify your request to register your child in Client programs and to operate Client operations. In operating Client operations, either Maroozle or Client may disclose information collected to the state and/or national sports associations or other third parties for insurance and other purposes necessary to successfully operate Client.

In addition, the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

  • To personalize your experience(Your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs)
  • To improve our website(We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)
  • To improve our customer service(Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support your needs)
  • To process transactions(Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.)
  • To send periodic emails(The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your involvement with our client, in addition to receiving occasional company or client news, updates, related product or service information, etc.)

Maroozle may also share such information with governmental authorities when legally required to do so or at the request of a government authority investigating a crime.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Do we use cookies?

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

At Maroozle or Client discretion, inclusion and offerings of third party products or services are available on Maroozle or Client website(s). These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance (OPPA)

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their control panel and going to the ‘Edit Account Preferences’ page.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance (COPPA)

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), Maroozle does not directly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Maroozle and Client website, products and services are controlled to limit interaction to people who are at least 13 years old or older. MAROOZLE DOES NOT SHARE CHILDREN’S PERSONALLY IDENTIFIEABLE INFORMATION TO ANY THIRD PARTY, OUTSIDE OF CLIENTS.

Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Clients are covered under individual Master Services Agreements establishing the use, disclaimers, and limitations of liability governing the use of our website.
